Teleportation

WHAT IS TELEPORTATION?
Tele-Transportation or commonly known as "Teleportation" is the transfer of matter or energy to any particular point without travelling the distance between them. The term teleportation was coined by an American writer Charles Fort in the year 1931. From there the teleportation has become a hot topic among Scientists. It is the technology that has the ability to transport an object from one point to another instantly within the blink of an eye. It has become common in Sci-Fi literature, movies, video games, and also cartoons. It has also been said that teleportation can also be used to travel in time.

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?
You might be wondering that how is it possible to transport to any point within a few seconds. Well the answer to this is still limited to only the Quantum Scale ( Distances less than 100 nanometers at a very low temperature ). Some scientists say that it is not possible to teleport macroscopic objects, only microscopic objects can be teleported and some say that it can be possible but we don't know the mystery behind it.
The first theoretical concepts on teleportation was given by Physicist Charles Bennett in the year 1993 where he proposed that Quantum Teleportation is possible by teleporting the state of a particle to another distant particle, but the two particles do not move at all. It was also said that Quantum particles can be teleported by creating the replica of the original object, but in such condition the original object must be destroyed such that the replica becomes the only surviving original. Since that time experiments using photons have proven that Quantum Teleportation is possible.

In 2008, a Japanese Scientist M. Hotta proposed that it may be possible to teleport energy from one particle to another by quantum energy fluctuations, this process is also called as Quantum Entanglement. Quantum Entanglements were the subject of 1935 paper by Einstein and other scientists, where they considered such behaviour to be impossible. However Quantum Entanglements satisfies the present concepts on teleportation as discussed in the above paragraph.

In 2014, researchers from technical university delft in Netherlands, demonstrated the teleportation of information between two particles 3 meters apart through quantum entanglements. Scientists also proposed that particles can teleport themselves, also known as particle teleportation. Physicists are trying to verify the concepts experimentally. The information we have about teleportation is very limited and also not sure whether it is true or false.

EXPERIMENTS
Since 1998, many experiments are conducted to prove the concepts of teleportation and they were a bit successful also. In the year 1998, the Physicists at California Institute of Technology made Quantum Teleportation a reality by teleporting a photon ( Particle of Light ) at a distance of 1 meter. Since then scientists haven't found a way of teleporting objects other than photons but still their progress is impressive. In 2002, researchers at Australian National University successfully teleported a laser beam into a cloud of atoms about half a meter away. It is a step further in its growth as it involves teleportation between two different objects, light and matter. One acts as the carrier of information and other as a storage.

In 2012, researchers of China made a new record of teleportation by teleporting a photon 97 kilometers (60.3) miles, breaking the previous record of 16 kilometers (10 miles). Just two years later, European physicists were able to teleport quantum information through an ordinary optical fibre which is used for telecommunications.

CONCLUSION
So as you now know about teleportation and its progress over the past years, you can see how teleportation will affect the world and how much importance it has been given from its start. It will surely hit many of the old technologies one day. But as for now we only have little information and according to it, teleportation of living creatures seems almost impossible. Imagine all your atoms break down and form again on a different location, it will be most painful thing. One small error in the atomic structure of the replica will be horrible to even imagine. And If we also overcome this obstacle then what's gonna happen? We can be able to alter our own atomic structure and can avoid diseases, aging and also those features which we don't like. You can easily age yourself backwards and can also avoid your death. Isn't that a Godly thing? Well its too far away and that's the main drawback of teleportation of humans or other living creatures. It is only sufficient to teleport non living objects according to present concepts. There might also be other concepts that are still unknown and through which human teleportation is seen as a possibility, but at present it is not possible.

  1. It's it's very informative I think according to me in the world is working on to strike the success for living organism to teleport from one place to another but avoiding the concept of replica well it's quite horrible to here or to think about the process of Replica that our body should be destructed ,destroy to the particles form and get into the concept of teleportation

    1. Yeah, but there might be some hidden concepts through which human teleportation would be possible. There's much more to come!!!

  2. when a wave impacts 5 atoms in a line it has a different static
resonance image than if the wave impacts 4 atoms......much like the
waves on the shore impacting five rocks in a line and then recording
the signature reulting wave.....but if the wave strikes 4 rocks in
line it will have a unique signature than that when it struck 5 rocks
in line......using this analagy....you could send a wave throught the
body at atomic size and record the signature output resonance image of
the wave going through 10 billion atoms which would be different than
if it went through 9 billion atoms..............................using
the resonance images of the resultant waves, a machine could
reconstruct the object at a completely different loaction......like
them sending waves through me and reconstructing me in switzerland
with a machine that processed the waves and translated it to atomic
reconstruction.....my invention.......the signature resonance wave outputs can me measured as units of time for one example.....a wave going through 4 atoms would be a different time than a wave going through 5 atoms in line..............a wave going through 9 billion atoms would output a different time than a wave going through 8 billion atoms......or 4 rocks and five rocks on a sea shore...............................anthony joseph butler, st . john's nl, canada ...109 carrick drive , a1a 4p3
